a. Note:   Nicholas was spelt as Nicholus at his baptism. He became a "Mariner of Brighton" his Will was read March 17, 1775 and proved November 1, 1776. He owned property at Brighton. There was also a baptism recorded for a Nicholas Tettersall on September 22, 1695 as being possibly the illegitamate son of Cornelius Parker, but no indication of the mother's name. He was recorded as being "Tettersel" at his marriage.
