Note: Frank Howard Henderson, second son of John and Mary, was born on January 8, 1890, in Victor Township, Illinois. After graduating from Leland High school, he attended the University of Illinois in 1910 and 1911. During World War I, he served as a motorcycle transport rider in the Air Force. After his marriage to Laura Williams on November 29, 1911, Frank and his bride farmed for a few years. Their daughter Marion related that she was born in the house across the street from Frank's parents John A. and Mary Jane Henderson. Later they moved to Aurora, Illinois, where he was a coach carpenter and worked in car shops for the Chicago-Burlington, and Quincy Railroad Company. Frank and Laura had three children. Frank and Laura divorced on May 29, 1937. He married a second time to Genevieve Olive Barry on June 15, 1937. They resided at 932 Harriett Ave., Aurora, IL. No children were born to this second marriage. He loved hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He also enjoyed these pastimes on property he owned near Frederick, Wisconsin, where he moved permanently after his retirement. He was always interested in his fellow man, so after his death on March 6, 1969, at the Frederick, Wisconsin hospital, his body was donated at his request to the University of Wisconsin Medical College. 1900 census Victor Township, DeKalb County, IL; John A.
