a. Note:   After graduation from East Aurora Illinois high school in 1933, He worked for the International Harvester Co. in Aurora. He married Uarda Haffenrichter in 1941, and they moved to a farm north of Plainfield, Illinois where they farmed for 27 years. Following up his lifelong interest in guns and gun collecting, Burce and Uarda move to Lakewood, Colorado, in 1968, where he attened a two year course in gunsmithing at the Colorado School of Trades. In 1970, they bought a home in Arvada, Colorado. He worked for 7 years as a receiving clerk at Tempte Trailer Sales, and retired in 1977. Then, while Bruce recovering from heart problems, they sold out, and returned to Illinois and lived in their house on the farm on Wolf road.
