Note:   Obituary: Mrs. Alice Taylor Mrs. Alice Kellogg Taylor, 83, a former resident of the Merrill, Ia., community died Saturday after a long sickness at the home of her daughter in Salem, Ore, Mrs. Taylor was born September 26. 1877 in Abilene, Kan. She was married to Owen Taylor on March 1, 1900 at Anthon, Ia. The couple lived near Merrill from 1909 until 1936 when they moved to San Diego, Cal. Mr. Taylor died in January , 1947. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the First Methodist church in San Diego. Survivors include two sons, Myron of Sioux City and Glenn of La Mesa. Cal.; two daughters. Mrs. Tom Taylor of Salem and Mrs. Samuel Gibson of San Jose. Earl Brangwin of Sioux City. The Manning - O'Toole funeral home has charge of arrangements.
