 by Roy Taylor of his father says his mother died when he was about 2 years old.
 In 1865, the family moved to Kansas and settled in Anderson County between Greeley and Garnett, Kansas. His father died in 1873, and his
 step mother, in 1877. He and his half brother, Calvin, bought a farm in
 the Berea neighborhood, 3/4 mile south of the Bethel Church. In 1920 the
 couple moved to Stafford where they purchased a home at 509 West Broadway.
 Sarah Taylor lived for a time with her daughter May at Sterling, Kansas. Funeral
 Book of Stewart F. Taylor verifies this information. He d. 23
 May 1933 at age 77 years 7 months and 12 days. Services were at the Covenentor
 Church at 2:30 on 25 May with Rev. Harry Orr, Dr. Carson, and Rev. Waldo
 Mitchel officiating. He is buried at the Stafford Cemetery
