Note: 8/99 When Sam and I went to Whiteboro to get a picture record of the cemetary stones, I made a wild discovery. All along Sam and I thought that S. L. Jr. was the oldest of the family when indeed he was not!!! I didn't figure this out until I looked at the birth dates of the four children. Lola was born first in 1890, then Sadie in 1894, then Clyde in 1900, then S.L. Jr. in 1908. 18 years difference between the first and the last.
