He was the husband of Maude (Steward) Brobst. Brobst was a retired operator of a service station. He was born in Tamaqua, a son of the late Harry and Phoebe (Bachert) Brobst. Brobst was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Rush Township, and a life member of the Hometown Fire Company. Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, John, Still Creek; three brothers, Elmer, Quakake; Kenneth and Howard, both of Still Creek; one grandson and five great-grand children." Owned gas station later in life. Charlie Brobst & w/ Maude -- Lived on corner by Kenneth and Eleanora's for a time in Still Creek, also lived in home of John Albert and next to Harry in Quakake.
