a. Note:   Great Aunts: Mattie & Nannie (Elizabeth) Durham Sisters of Grampa James Singleton Durham Mattie Durham never married. Aunt Mattie raised Mittie & Frank, children of Uncle Bill (Wm Allen). Grampa (James Singleton) came to Grandma's house in Huntsville and took mother (Jessie Womack) and Aunt Molly to the home of Great Aunts Mattie & Nannie. Grandma (Mary Jane) came almost immediately and retrieved them and took them back home (to Huntsville, Ala.). Mother says Aunt Nannie died in that home (at Lexie Crossroads Franklin County TN.)
