Notes
a. Note:   I'm not so sure that Mary Ann Durham married Mr. G. L. Baker. There is a Mary Duram, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Duram in the 1870 Franklin County Census. Joseph was from Germany and Elizabeth was born in Ohio as were all their children. In the 1880 Franklin County TN census I found a Gus Baker and his wife, Mary, born in Ohio. The marriage information I found has Mary's maiden name listed as both Durm and Durham. This Mary was also born around the same year as Mary Ann Durham. I will wait to hear from others before I change my opinion regarding this union.
