a. Note:   I remember my grandfather as a kind man who always had a kind word for his grandchildren.
 Michael was a avid gardiner and the garden was a mass of colours in spring and summer.
 Michael had a large glasshouse at the top of the garden, at St Joseph's Terrace Mell, in which he grew Red Grapes. The vine stretched across the inside roof of the glass house which measured 20 x 10 ft.
 Michael was a plummer by trade.
