Note: Farmer, trader. 6' tall, blonde hair, blue eyes. Republican. Very witty. According to a newspaper account, he was born in McMinn County, TN and passed away after a long illness. The newspaper says "Mr. Rayborn was converted at 18 years of age and united with the Baptist church of Rock Springs, MO. Mr. and Mrs. Rayborn moved to Tulsa November 13, 1924." "For many years before going to Tulsa his home was near Green Mountain, 16 miles north of here. [Mountain Grove] The body was shipped to Mountain Grove where it was taken charge of by N. L. Botten, undertaker, and conveyed to Green Mountain for burial Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Will Burney of Manes conducted the funeral service......The widow, the son, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ellis, and a niece, Mrs. Ada Burch of Springfield, accompanied the body to Green Mountain for the funeral." -Source: A newspaper clipping probably from Mountain Grove.
