Note: Obituary for Sarah Palmer Headrick appeared July 22, 1935 in the Tulare Daily Advance Register. Rites Held for Tulare Pioneer J. A. Damron conducted the funeral rites at the Goble paruors (sic) here Monday morning for Mrs. Sarah headrick, 86, pioneer Tulare resident who passed away Saturday morning. Mary Snively and Flora Damron sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "In the sweet Bye and Bye." Pallbearers were Charles R. White, C.A. Fry, C.W. Fry, Arthur White, O. D. Walker and E. R. Douglas. Burial followed in the family plot in the Tulare cemetery. Mrs. Headrick had resided in California 60 years and in Tulare for 49 years. She was a native of Iowa. She is survived by five children, among whom is Mrs. Iva Miller of Tulare.
