Clark occurred from apoplexy at her home Saturday evening. Mrs. Clark was for many years a prominent member of the Methodist church, and a much beloved Sunday school teacher, gaining and holding many loving friends by her patient and loving ways. Funeral from her late home Tuesday afternoon, at 1 o'clock. She leaves a husband and three daughters, Mrs. Clifford Francis, Mrs. Wilbur Clark and Mrs. Reuben Thompson. ***** Obituary - The Penny Press, January 4, 1909 Mary, wife of Whitney P. Clark, died Sunday morning aged 68 years. She had been in feeble health for a long time. Several weeks ago she suffered a stroke of apoplexy from the effect of which she never recovered. Besides her husband, she leaves three children. Mrs. Clifford Francis, Mrs. Wilbur I. Clark and Mrs. Reuben Thompson, all residing in Durham. She also leaves a brother, Charles Camp Sr., who resides in Middlefield, and three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hart and Mrs. W. A. Parsons, residing in Durham, the other, a married sister, living in the west. The funeral will be held from her late residence Tuesday at 1 p.m., burial in the Durham cemetery. ***** Death Record: pg. 190 DVR, Mary Coe Clark, d.
