She was the only grandchild that her grandfather, Reuben Thompson knew before he died in 1926, listed in his obituary. She died from cancer of the esophagus,on July 24, 1980 , 77 Lakeside Drive, Guilford, CT (brother Don�s house). She was the only child that her Grandfather, Reuben Thompson, knew before he died in 1926 (obit). She was a factory worker at O.F. Mossbert and H.B. Ives, New Haven, for many years, maker of metal mailboxes. She loved baseball games and would often go to see the West Haven Yankees farm team play. When the scoreboard read 2 balls, 2 strikes, 2 outs, she and her niece, Tracy, would look at each other and say "222". She married Leon Alonzo Tomlinson March 21, 1947 in Guilford, CT. It was his second marriage. He was born Abt.1918 in New Haven, CT. He died July 01, 1971 in Milford, CT. During a storm, he had a heart attach while on duty as a fireman, town of Orange, CT. They lived at Ohman Avenue, Orange, CT. They did not have any children. They are buried in the family plot in Alderbrook cemetery.
