Note: Per Myrtle Ann Denzik, her father attended a German/Lutheran School. I reviewed the phone books located at the Louisville Public Library. I found a school by the name of 1905 The Cross School 1024 4th First German Evangelical Lutheran School 1125 E. Broadway Louisville, Kentucky I found the school in the phone directories up until year 1941. In the year 1942, I seen a school by the name of Evangelical Lutheran School of the Redemmer located on 37th Ne Cor Del Park Terrace. I will attempt to locate more information. TDD __________ Obituary located in the Courier Journal Louisville, KY newspaper. William B. Denzik, 84, formerly of 3532 Taylor Blvd., died Wednesday at Klondike Manor. He was a retired molder for Schmutz Foundry & Machine Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Davis; two sons, William J. Denzik of La Grange and Donald W. Denzik; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Passafiume; a sister, Mrs. Mary Heller; 11 grandchildren. The Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville, Road, with burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 1 p.m. Thursday.
