1926 - won place on all-state mythical football team (only Burt Co high school student ever to have won that distinction). Worked way through high school as a barber and then worked as a tonsorial artist in Mueller Barber shop.
Tekamah 1854 - 1954 book mentions Edgar (Ned) as being one of the managers of the barber shop located in the basement of the Burt County Bank building.
