Note: Note: the marriage of Eliza Sherrill Perry to Edward M. Teall is listed in the Perry family Bible but not the birth of their children until Henry Dwight Teall's birth was listed some time after and in another handwriting. There is no note of Edward's death or Eliza's remarriage. It was Henry Dwight Teall to whom Frederick Perry left his Bible about one year before the death of his wife, Zerujah. Perhaps the parents disapproved of the marriage in some way and only warmed to their second grandson after the death of his father? 1840 Census of Albany NY Roll 264 Page 320 E. M. Perry From the Berkshire Eagle Thursday, December 11, 1884 "The funeral services of Mrs Eliza Perry Teall Morgan occurred at her residence Saturday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, Rev F. B. Perkins officiated." In the name of God Amen. I Eliza S. Morgan of the town of Stockbridge County of Berkshire State of Massachusetts do make publish & declare this to be my last will & testament. First: I consideration of all the moneys my son E M Teall has paid for the maintenance of my father and myself I give and bequeath to him the said E M Teall all my property both real and Personal with the folllowing exceptions. Second: To my daughter Susan T. Perry I bequeath all my wearing apparrel to do with as she pleases. My diamond Ring Watch& chain I give to my daughter Susie Perry and Kate M. Teall to be divided between them as they shall chose the remainder of my trinkets & everything relating to them & to my wearing apparrel I give to my Daughter Susie T Perry to do with as they please. Third I give to my son Henry D Teall a cow or the value of it in some thing he may chose. Fourth But in case of the said Edward M Teall desire my promissary notes to him be paid for the of his wife from the sale of Real or personal property or both the remainder of to be equally divided among my surviving children and grandchildren. Fifth I also request that some article be given to my niece Hattie G Powers also to my nephew Fred P Powers. Sixth I hereby nominate and appoint my son Edw M Teall of Chicago Illinois Executor of this my last Will & testament. I also direct that as my executor he not be required to give Bonds.
