Note: Buried at the 2nd Presbyterian Church, Charleston, SC. His tombstone reads: "Underneath this marble are the mortal remains of Arthur Robinson, son of John Thomas Robinson and Susan Robinson who departed this life on the 13th day of December 1843 age 19 yrs 4 months and 19 days." From the Charleston Observer, December 23, 1843: "Died on the 13th inst., Arthur, youngest son of Mr. John Robinson of this city, aged 19 years, 1 month and 19 days...(eulogy). Died on the 20th ult., Lewis Gervais, aged 3 years, 8 months and 8 days-- son of Stephen T. and Mary Robinson. On the 25th ult., James Kirk, aged 6 years, and 13 days. And on the 9th inst., John Brownlee, aged 3 years, 5 months and 24 days. Also, on the 17th inst., Henry Dickson, aged 4 years, 10 months and 27 days, all children of James K. and Mary T. Robinson On the 23rd ult., John Bainbridge, aged 3 years and 19 days, and on the 4th inst., Stephen Thomas, aged 18 days-- both children of James M. and Ann T. Caldwell. These were all grandchildren of Mr. John Robinson."
