Note: Buried at the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC. His tombstone reads: "Underneath this marble are the mortal remains of John Thomas Robinson, a native of this city who departed this life on 27 Aug 1828 aged 25 years 9 mos 23 days." From The Charleston Observer, August 30, 1828: " Died in this city on Wednesday, John T. Robinson of the firm of John Robinson, Son & Co., merchants, in the 26th year of his age."
