Teele, 68, of 596 Washington St., Auburn, died Thursday morning at a local hospital. He was born in West Acton, Mass, April 7, 1910, the son of Ernest R. and Martha Shattuck Teele. He attended Acton schools and graduated from Acton High School in 1926. He was married to Alice Orr and was employed in the shoe manufacturing business as a foreman for many years at various locations in Central Maine. He retired in October, 1977, from Sir-Gal Footwear in Bowdoinham. He lived in Auburn since 1972. He was a member of Richmond Corner Baptist Church, and a charter member and past president of the Associated Shoe Executives of Maine.
