b. Note:   ears, 6 months and 9 days at his home on Mill Run after an illness of 10 days, the result of dysenterry and pulmonary congestion. The deceased was a native of this state and during the Civil War served as a member of the Two Hundred and Fifth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. He is survived by his wife and one son David J., residing at home. The deceased was employed as a watchman by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. The funeral will be held at 1:30 o/clock Thursday afternoon in the Mill Run school house. The interment will be made in Carson Valley cemetery." DEATH CERTIFICATE is recorded as follows: " John Templeton. Name of Father: Dudley Templeton born in Vermont. Name of Mother: Ester Soulsby, born in England. Mr. David J. Templeton of Mill Run advised that "the personal particulars are true to the best of my knowledge and belief", May 27, 1908.

c. Note:   r born in England; Mary, age 32, wife, keeping house, born in PA, as well as both parents; David Templon, age 13, son, attended school within the year". Brothers James, John, George and sisters Isabella Bayle, Jane Mullen and mother Esther were all living a few doors from each other on Ninth Avenue. John was living at 1907, George was 3 doors down (no #), James at 2005, Isabella and Esther at 2013, and Jane living at 2021.
