Note: ngineer and one of the oldest residents of Shenandoah, died at 6 p.m., Monday from pneumonia after a few days illness. The funeral was held from the home today, Rev. Lee E. Shaeffer, of the United Brethren Church, officiating. Interment in the United Brethren Cemetery. Masons had charge of the burial services and acted as pall bearers. Mr. Templon was the oldest Mason in Shenandoah. Mr. Templon had been in failing health for several years. He was a native of Pennsylvania and came here one year after the Shenandoah Valley Railroad was built 52 years ago. He ran for years on the Shenandoah - Hagerstown division and was retired eighteen years ago. His second wife who was Miss Hattie Minnick, of Maryland, survives with thirteen children. The children are: Mrs. H. S. Dent, Pulaski; Mrs. W. E. Lathero; Mrs. Roy Hooke and Mrs. R.D. Bayle, of Altoona, PA. Mrs. W. O. Matthews, Mrs. H. C. Williamson and Frank Templon of Hagerstown; and James, Charles, Matthew, Wilbur, Norman and Miss Virginia of Shenandoah."
