Text:   Tombstone inscription gives Birth and Death dates.Census records indicate that both Heinrich & Dorothea came from "Brunswick" Prussia. Other family notes say they came from "Oberheidleburg" and also "oberheddenbider" but they were guessing at the "spelling". Prussia is probably the country, Brunswick/Braunsweig is probably the state, and "Ober...." is probably the city. Other than that, I don't have a clue as to when or where they immigrated from in Europe. Family tradition relates that they came to America on a ship, Heinrich worked as a laborer for his passage and Dorothea worked as a midwife for her passage. I have no proof.
