Ralph M. Martin, 65, of 951 Reed Road, Mansfield, died Tuesday evening at Mansfield General Hospital after a 9 week Iness. Burial will be at Greenlawn cemetery in Perrysville where military services will be conduced by the VFW post of Perrysville. He was born in 1920 in Holmes County to Harley and Ruth Harris Martin. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and was employed at Tappan Co.. in Mansfield for 43 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Adario. Surviving are his wife Shirley Krebs Martin, whom he married Dec 21 1968, a son, Ralph of Bay Village; two daughters, Mrs. Stan (Cheryl) Simpson of Lilburn, Ga., and Mrs, Mike (Linda) Palmisano of Ann Arbor Mich.; seven grandchildren two brothers, John of Millersburg and Raymond of Big Prairie, and three sisters, Mrs. Earl (Hazel) Storch of Wooster, Mrs. John (Wanda) Armstrong of Millersburg and Mrs. Don (Florence) Walkerow of Nashville.
