a. Note:   Leopoldo Boni was a 49-year-old day laborer when he emigrated from Gualdo Tadino in November 1912. He sailed on the SS Oceanic, which left from Cherbourg, France. He traveled with his son, 16-year-old Luca, to Scranton. He left behind his wife, 'Nicola' Ansuini and planned to join his cousin "Alfred Domini" [??] in what might be Dunmore. He noted that he was in the U.S. before, in 1906 and 1908, when he was in Pittston. He is listed as being 5'5", had white hair and could not read or write. (His final destination is listed as Scranton.]
