a. Note:   In November 1863, James Durnnian bought a piece and parcel of land from Charles Secord, situated in Erb Settlement, parish of Sussex, south of the Kennebecasis River. The price of the land was $800. In the following month (21 December 1863), he bought another piece of land, from William Gilmore, for $240 in the same area. On the land James built a house which stood until 1994, when it was torn down.
