J.B. could be her father, as a J.B. Rand was on John's probate records. John also has a 9 year-old female, Lily living with him. Who is this?
The Stearns County, Minnesota death records (FHL Film #1309459 item #9) show an unnamed Brown who died 28 Oct 1871. Parents were J.W. and Mary Brown. This could possibly be John and Laura's child.
