a. Note:   Obituary of Marie TeVogt, Morrison County Record, Sunday, July 28, 2002, Section A, Page 27: " MARIE TEVOGT, 98 - Marie A. TeVogt, a resident of Pierz, MN, died July 18, 2002, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz. Mass of Christian Burial was held July 23 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN, with Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Marie Agnes Darcy was born July 29, 1903 in Mazeppa to the late Hugh and Mary Jane (McBride) Darcy. She grew up in Wabasha County, Amenia, ND and Detroit Lakes. She graduated from Detroit Lakes High School. Marie was united in marriage on November 27, 1928 to Leo T. TeVogt in Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Detroit Lakes. Although Marie worked outside the home for a few years, her most important occupation was that of homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for over 50 years. Survivors include her children, James M. (Sally) TeVogt of Wadena, William H, (Suzanne) TeVogt of Crystal, Mary E, (James) Brummer of Burnsville, Jean A. (Dennis) Millner of St. Peter, daughter-in-law, Phyllis TeVogt; 12 grandchildren, one foster grandchild, seven great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, on December 23, 1992; 4 sons, Francis, Leo H., Gerald and Richard; one daughter-in-law, Connie TeVogt, one granddaughter, Peggy Millner; parents; four brothers, William Hubert Darcy, William Hugh Darcy, Martin E. Darcy, Hugh C. Darcy; three sisters, Julia (Darcy) Martin, Sarah (Darcy) Ebentier and Genevieve (Darcy) Cannon. "
