Notes
a. Note:   In the Wednesday, October 29, 1890, issue of the Mazeppa Tribune appeared the following announcement: "MARRIED - On Friday, Oct. 21, Hugh Darcy and Miss Mary J. McBride were made happy for life by a few words spoken by Rev. Father Haley at the Catholic Church in Lake City. After the ceremonies were over the young couple were escorted to the home of the bride's parents in Mt. Pleasant where a bounteous repast was spread and music furnished for their many friends until far into the night. The young couple received a large number of fine presents and with their many friends the Tribune joins in wishing them much joy. They have moved on to the J.R. Curry farm where they will always welcome their friends".
