a. Note:   Obituary of Mrs. Irene Jane Cadoo, Pepin County Courier, Durand, Wisconsin, Friday, November 16, 1888:
 "Mrs. Irene Jane Cadoo, wife of Thomas Cadoo of Maxville, died of dropsy at her home in that town on Tuesday night. Her funeral services were held on the following day, being conducted by Rev. John Holt of this city. Mrs. Cadoo was a well known and respected resident of Buffalo County and bore her last illness, which was painfull in the extreme, with great patience and fortitude".
