McGOVERN DIES AT FAIRFAX - Mrs. John McGovern, 73, a resident of Renfair nursing home at Fairfax since early spring of 1956, died there at 12:30 today. She had been an invalid more than 10 years. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Catherine's Catholic church here and interment will be in Redwood Falls cemetery. Agnes McBride was born at Lake City April 10, 1884, a daughter of William and Eliza McBride. She attended a rural school near Lake City and the high school for the deaf at Faribault. After her marriage to John E. McGovern April 20, 1919, they lived at Redwood Falls on an acreage near the city limits and later moved into town. Her husband died January 2, 1948. Survivors are her daughter, Rose McGovern of Redwood Falls; two sisters, Mrs. John McKenzie of Minneapolis and Mrs. Ed McDonough of Madison, Wis.,and a brother, William H. McBride of Minneapolis. Friends may call at the Hoepner Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Wednesday and the rosary will be said there at 8 p.m. "
