a. Note:   There is one reference to an immigrant, Robert Buntin, to Pennsylvania in the year 1786. We cannot confirm this is the same Robert Buntin as described here.
 Robert Buntin, Sr. left Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio to settle in Knox County, Indiana in 1793. Robert was Camp Commander of Camp Knox, VIncennes, Indiana from 1797-1801. A record of his service as commander is recorded in an old diary of an officer of the Old Fort Knox, and this printed and record is kept at Vincennes Historical Library.
