Obituary of Ruth Ferguson Hardy Shreveport Times "Mrs. Ruth Hardy SHREVEPORT - Services for Mrs. Ruth Hardy, 65, of Shreveport, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 13 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. The Rev. Fisk Ray, associate pastor of Willow Point Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Hardy died at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday July 11, 1984, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Washington, Indiana and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. Mrs. Hardy was a retired shop foreman for Tackle Industries and was a member of the Willow Point Baptist Church and Shreveport Golden Age Club. She is survived by her husband, Roe C. Hardy of Shreveport; two sons, Gary R. Hardy of Garland, Texas, Danny R. Hardy of Shreveport; one sister, Leneda Eley of Shreveport; two brothers, Homer Ferguson of Louisiana, Leonard W.
