 MONUMENTAL INSCRIPTION: Llanrwst, Denbighshire> The sepulchral effigy of Hywel "Coetmor" lies in the church of Llanrwst, in plate armour with a tabard of his arms, with the inscription "HIC JACST HOEL COTTMORE AP GRUFF VYCHAN. AMN. (Lloyd, History of the Princes, the Lords Marcher and the Ancient Nobility of Powys Fadog, vol. 4 p. 276) KINSHIP: Griffith's 'Pedigrees of Anglesey and Carnarvonshire Families' page 328 gives him additional daughters, Nest and Eurddyled who married Hywel ap Madog, but these are granddaughters, daughters of Gruffudd. 1.
