Daniel Hubbard, (1714-77), was a soldier who died of camp fever. Upon his monument in Saints Rest Cemetery, Pittsfield, Mass., is inscribed Captain and Patriot. He had four sons and five sons-in-law in the army. Zadock Hubbard, (1749-1814), responded to the alarm 1780 as a private in the Berkshire County militia and marched to the northward. Aurora, Onondaga, NY. Aurora is in Cayuga County. If he actually did die in Onondaga Co let me know and I'll try and visit the cemetery for you next summer. I haven't been to Aurora since my daughter's graduation, very pretty country. I also see you have Ashley's. They cross my lines here and there. I know there was a well to do family of them in Genesee Co and later Monroe Co that I have a little bit on.
