a. Note:   From: marystephenson@sacbeemail.com To: DWRumery@aol.com Sent: 9/21/2008 10:05:31 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time Subj: Found info on Mary Turner Lay David, My brother Ken Lay & his wife went down to Schoharie CO NY last week. They found Mary Turner's father & siblings. Her dad was Joseph Turner who moved to Schoharie Co from Saybrooke CT. Betsy Turner who's listed with her in the 1850 census is her sister. There is a church record of Hannah Stannard Lay joining the church in 1817. She is a widow & is transferring her membership from Georgia VT. so Daniel Lay apparently died in VT. about 1817. Ken may be sending you more info. I'm telling you what I remember from my phone conversation with him last night. When I get the actual information I'll forward it on to you. Cousin Mary
