Hope this helps? David Rice -------------------- Hello Barbara. Was Looking around Wordconnect on Rootsweb when I came across the entry you put in for Abigail Alvord the new wife of Peter Perry in Fairfield County CT. Albigail and Peter had a daughter named Sarah Perry who was born about 1763. Sarah married Ezekiel Bennett about 23-JUly-1785 there in Fairfield County. about the early 1790's Ezekiel and Sarah moved to Otsego County,NY to raise their children. I came down thru their daughter Emeline who married a Weatherly man in the west laurens area of Otsego County. Ezekiel and His wife Sarah are buried in the family cemetery in West Laurens . It is called the Bennett-Weatherly Cemetery. Many of their descendants are buried in this cemetery. I just had the Maternal Mitochondrial DNA test done and am now trying to track the direct DNA line and Sarah and her mother Abigail and grandmother Hannah Goodsell are part of that DNA line. am trying to track the line back farther. I think Hannah's mother was Mary Lewis b:1706 husband of Rev John Goodsell, Mary's mother I believe was Hannah Judson b: 1681 and wife of Capt James Lewis. Hannah Judson's mother might be Rebeccca Wells b: 1655 wife of ? Judson. Rebecca's mothers might be Hannah Tuttle b;1633 and the daughter of William Tuttle and wife Elizabeth from England. This is where I stop with the female part of the line. Would you happen to have the female line that goes back more in time. I found it very intersting that some one thinks William Tuttle might have family ties to William the Conqueror. The Norman guy who took over England. And also Robert, king of France in 1031? The DNA says that the maternal line may have have come from the moutains bewteen Spain and France some 20,000 years ago. Would you be interested in talking more about this? If so drop me a e-mail at
