a. Note:   /184/P3/P3/ Vol. II. Page 119 From: Three Centuries with the Rosenberger -- Rosenberry Family, 1698-1983 compiled by Myra J. Fields. "Before 1743 Jacob Rosenberger and his wife, Regina Zitzer, came to colonial New York and settled along the Hudson (river). Four children born 1743-1750 were all baptized in the Lutheran church, but two born in 1753 and 1757 were baptized in the Reformed church. The Zitzer family was from Poppenweiler, Wuettemberg, a town on the Neckar about three miles East of Ludwigsburg, which may be the German home of Jacob and other Rosenbergers as well. It is likely that Jacob and/or his family migrated to Pennsylvania, as did many of the German people who first came to New York. The children of Jacob and Regina were: Salome R.? b. 11:6:1743 (two weeks old), Loonenburg, Lutheran church Peter R., *11:23:1745, . Loonenburg Lutheran church, Rhinebeck Maria Magdalena R., *8:12:1747, Rhinebeck Lutheran Churchbook Anna Elisabetha R., *1:14:1750, Rhinebeck Lutheran Churchbook Hans Georg R., b. 10:21:1753, Albany Reformed Churchbook Martin R., *10:3:1757, Rhinebeck Flats Reformed Churchbook." Later in paragraph the author suggests "It is likely that Jacob and his family migrated to Pennsylvania, as did many of the German people who first came to New York."
