a. Note:   Robert James Wells AGE: 66. Piscataway Robert James Wells, 66, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born October 15, 1946, in New Brunswick, he was the son of James H. and Irene Gonzol Wells. He was a lifelong Piscataway resident. Robert graduated from Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School, Class of 1966. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving there in the US Army. He was employed as a machinist at Affiliated Manufacturers, Inc., Branchburg. He also worked part time for the Shop Rite supermarket in Somerset. He was a volunteer with the Piscataway Township Citizen Police. He was a member of Triboro Memorial Post No. 5479, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dunellen. He was an avid camper, an ex-drag racer, the proud owner of a vintage 1970 Ford Mustang, and he was a descendant of Charlemagne. Robert is survived by his wife of 39 years, Anita Doty Wells; his daughter, Laurel Wells of Piscataway; his sister, Jacqueline (Joe) Lubinski of Asbury; his aunt, Betty Sperr of South Carolina; his nephews, Mike and Andy Lubinski, and many cousins. Friends will be received 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Monday, September 23, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Funeral services will be at 8:00 P.M. Monday, during the course of the visitation. Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Triboro Memorial Post No. 5479, VFW, 201 Prospect Ave., Dunellen, NJ 08812.
