a. Note:   N5317 Obituary from the “Cleveland Daily Banner”: . Bernice Lee White, 68, of Cleveland, died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at her home. She was preceeded in death by her parents, W.C “Cliff” Ingram and Pauline Ingram. She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church, and a loving wife and mother. . Survivors include her husband: Billy G. White of Cleveland; one daughter, Pamela Diane White of Memphis; five brothers: Don Ingram of Etowah, Jeff Ingram of Blue Ridge, Ga., David Ingram of Ooltewah, Joe Ingram of Cleveland and Billy Ingram of Georgetown; four sisters: Karen Thomas of Birchwood, J. Virginia Burgner, Wanda Hedger, and Rita Ingram, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. . Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Copeland and Dr. Ronald Ingram officiating. Internment will be in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Frederick McCleary, Willard Wilson, Carl Green, Les Williams, Keith Ingram, and Steve Gregg serving as pallbearers. . Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Ingam of this city announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Bernice Lee Ingram, to Billy G. White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace White Sr. also of Cleveland. . The wedding was solemnized Saturday, July 29, at Unity Methodist Church; the Rev. Robrt F. Parsons officiated. . The bride was attired in a navy blue suit with matching navy accessories. Her flowers were an orchid corsage. . Mrs. Hoyt Gregg, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and only attendant to the bride. She wore a white suit with brown and white accessories. Her flowers were a corsage of red carnations. . Charles Cole of Morristown, Tenn., served as best man to the groom. . Mrs. White received her education in the school of Bradley Conty and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa sorority and Zeta Mu Epsilon sorority, serving as treasurer. She is the sister of Mrs. Hoyt Gregg, Don Ingram, Billy Ingram, Wanda Ingram, Rita Ingram and Joe Ingram, all of Cleveland. . Mr. White was educated in the schools of Cleveland and Forrest City, Ark. He is a brother of Horace White Jr. of Cleveland and Mrs. J.R. Williams of Ripley, Tenn. . Following a southern wedding trip the couple is residing in their apartment on Emmett Ave. [The same article printed in the Cattanooga newspaper under the headline "Miss Ingram Exchanges Vows With Billy White", adds these paragraphs:] . Mrs. White was complimented with a miscellaneous shower by J.R. Williams at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace White, Friday evening. .
