Note: p-son Raymond K. King, and 2 roomers. In 1940 he was a building carpenter in Lowell with Floe, son Ken, and step-son Raymond King. He retired in 1967. Obituary: [Rooks County Record] George S. Richards of Woodston, a retired farmer of that area, where he had spent most of his life, died about noon September 5 in the hospital in Phillipsburg, where he had been a patient several weeks. He was 77 years of age and had been in failing health the past years. He is survived by his wife, Floe, to whom he had been married nearly 48 yers; a son, Ken Lee, Harlem, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. June McBrayer, Carson City, Nev.; two brothers, Leroy of Greeley, Colo., and Dan of California; five sisters, Mrs. Alpha Sloop, Lyons; Mrs. Mabel LaRue and Mrs. Coila Pottrough, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Wilma McClain, Hutchinson, and Mrs. Jeanette Hoar, Great Bend; stepson, Raymond King of Woodston; one grandson, one great-grandson, and two adopted grandchildren. Services will by Thursday at two o'clock at the Smith Memorial Chapel in Stockton, conducted by Rev. james H. Williams, and interment will be in the Woodston Cemetery.
