Holloway and Paulina Perkins Hi Tracy, I believe you are talking about Paulina Perkins, born April 28, in Ledyard CT in 1840. She was married to my great-great-grandfather John Christie. She was married to him at the age of 16 in 1856. John Christie died in 1862. She had two children by him Willis and Rosa Christie. This is the part that you'll be interested in. She remarried to William H. Holloway and had several more children. Now the next part gets a little complicated. William H Holloway's brother was Alfred Porter Holloway. He was married to Mary Sarah Starr. They had a daughter named Mary Ester Holloway who married Willis Christie which means that they were first cousins but not related by blood. Interesting right. I don't know too much about William but the Holloways are quite prominent in CT as mariners. I hope this answers some of your questions. It will probably create a few more. Sue
