a. Note:   At the time of the 1900 census of Providence, RI she was living with her father and step-mother. The census showed she was born in Jan 1885 (correct) and in Rhode Island (should be NY?). She still lived with them at the time of the 1910 census of Providence and still showed RI as her pob. Her death cert states that she was born at Hempstead, NY, but some other records, including Find a Grave, show it was Rhode Island. I'll go with New York as the family lived in Hempstead and the 1880 census shows she was born in NY.
