a. Note:   He wrote an unpublished autobiography titled Is That You Harry? It has many personal stories, mostly about his young years, and includes some genealogical information which has been entered into the family database. It also includes the family story regarding a possible ancestor, the infamous pirate Captain John (Long Ben) Avery. He applied for a passport on Nov 23, 1923 for the purpose of traveling to Europe for commercial business representing The Flintkote Company of Boston, MA. His address was 204 Harrison Ave, New Brunswick, NJ. His name was given as Henry Campbell Avery, which appears to be his real name although most of his records use his nickname of Harry. He and Lucia are buried in Pinehill Cemetery, Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. There is a photo of their marker at Find A Grave.
