  BIOGRAPHY: Against Oblivion: History of Calhoun county, Georgia Charlotte Stewart (1828-1900) bur. Mars Hill, m. William James Hodges (an orphan) who was taken prisioner during the Civil War, and transported to Illinois where he died in prison. He left behind a wife and six children, on of whom was Peter Colquitt Hodges, who m. Alice Bell (see Bell). They became the parents of Anne Estelle Hodges, wife of Kenneth Norton Sanders, her 2nd cousin.
