Note: N84 Until I found the estate settlement, I thought he had died on the way to Texas in 1849. He had married the year before and left his wife and newborn son, supposedly to go to Texas and make a home, then return for them. Well, he went to Louisana and is found there in 1860 with a new wife and children. I have corresponded with one of his descendants from that marriage. Seems he and that wife had a falling out....anyway I can't find him after 1860 but am told he served in Civil War....can't find him on any roster. But I am now running down an interesting item I found on FTM marriage cd in MS....seems a David B. Huggins got married there in 1871.
His name may have been David Benjamin after father (Benjamin) and his grandfather, David Cobb.
