a. Note:   N650 Martin was a millwright and worked most of his life with his brother, Albert, in the lumber industry. He was an excellent father-loved his children, and was a left-handed pitcher. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was a hard worker and always believed in doing what was right. He bought 60 acres from his father, built a house and that was where most of the children were born. He moved quite often to new mill sites, sometimes by covered wagons. He bought his car, a 1921 Ford, built with seats to hold the family. He loved to sing and always led the singing at funerals. He died at the age of 67 years from a heart attack. -- Archie Allen Pritchard
