Note: N16325 By 1870, William Ptolemy, aka "Toll" or "Tolly", and Nettye Clay PERRY were living with their grandparents JERNIGANs in Marion Co, GA. By 1880 William Ptolemy Perry was married to "Talula" in Marion Co, GA He died 21 June 1938 in Stephens, Ouachita Co., AR. It states that he had retired from farming in 1904 and had farmed for 38 years. His wife at the time was Martha E. Perry of Stephens. (I have personally researched Perrys in that county and learned that this was his second wife.) He is buried in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Ouachita Co., AR. On the 1880 Marion County census, house number 250, he was married to a "Lula" who was 21. I have not been able to identify any children for "Toll" as he was called.
