 Deceased Name: J. Veneziano SR.; OF NEW BRITAIN
  Joseph J. Veneziano Sr. of New Britain, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, died Friday at New Britain General Hospital. He was 79.
 A lifelong New Britain resident, he had owned and operated the VFW Barber Shop in Berlin for 10 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
 Mr. Veneziano leaves his wife, Genevieve Labieniec Veneziano; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph S. and Sandra Veneziano and Carl J. and Theresa Veneziano, all of New Britain; a daughter and son- in-law, Susan and John Caravella of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; and a sister, Angie Maghini of Bristol.
 The funeral will be Monday, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 109 North St., New Britain, Monday from 8:15 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
