The land where Henry Bell was taxed in 1790 was in Wilkes Co. between north & South Forks of the Little R. and subsequently became Oglethorpe Co. in 1793, but was cut off into Greene Co. in 1799; yet Henry Bell's estate was settled in Oglethorpe.
